DR. Neal Miller – RPh, Pharm D
Dr. Neal Miller is 55 years old and married to Jean Miller. Neal was born in Louisville, GA and has lived within one hour of Augusta all his life. Together, Jean and Neal have raised five children and have only one child remaining at home, who is currently completing his final year at Georgia Tech. Neal graduated cum laude with a Pharm D degree from the University of Georgia in 2001. This is especially noteworthy, since he was a non-traditional older student entering college at the age of thirty-three. For the past 15 years, he’s served patients of all ages through retail pharmacy. He has management experience from both retail pharmacies serving as the Assistant Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacy Manager. In 2015, Neal left the retail pharmacy world to pursue his dream of independent pharmacy. He is excited to be pharmacist in charge at Miller Drug. His passion is service and excellence, and he is excited for the opportunity to operate his own pharmacy providing better services than those provided by the major chains. He believes helping patients achieve optimal health is greatly influenced through personal relationships with trusted healthcare providers. Dr. Neal is committed to partnering with both patients and physicians to achieve their best health outcome.
Nurse Jean Miller – RN, BSN
Jean Miller is 52 years old and married to Neal Miller. Born in Augusta, GA, she was raised just south of Augusta. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. Her career began in the CCU/ICU units but quickly moved to several management positions. She was Nurse Manager for Georgia’s first freestanding ventilator unit, and then later served as Assistant Director of Nursing for homes in Gwinnett and Glascock Counties. She and Neal married during her time in Glascock. After welcoming their third child, she became the family’s sole provider as Neal attended college for the first time pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Upon Neal’s completion of school, Jean pursued her dream of labor & delivery nursing at University Hospital. She has since served as Coordinator of the Health and Wellness program University Hospital as well as for Columbia County Government. This gave her skills to help high risk patients with disease states such as diabetes, kidney disease & kidney failure, hypertension, CAD, obesity, COPD as well as providing vaccinations. She now works in a local surgery center and assists Neal at Miller Drug. She is a valuable asset to Miller Drug and looks forward to sharing her skills and knowledge by serving the surrounding community.

Haley Sprouse-Media & Marketing
Haley is not only a part of the Miller Drug family, but also Dr. Miller and Jean’s daughter. While she did not personally pursue a career in medicine, growing up with parents in the health care profession gave her a love for helping others in a health-related way. Haley graduated from Augusta State University with a degree in Communication Studies, so she handles most of the marketing and media for Miller Drug. She previously worked with Creative Pharmacist, a local company committed to helping independent pharmacies succeed in their clinical services. So she has plenty of resources to bring to the table. Haley and her husband, Daniel, are Augusta locals and have four of Dr. Neal and Nurse Jean’s grandchildren- Isaac, Uriah, Hosanna and Asa.
